A Master of Science in Nursing is an investment in the long-term future of your nursing career. The costs of our program include tuition, which is billed per semester unit, and fees, which pay for the administrative costs of your education and are non-refundable.
MSN Family Nurse Practitioner
Current costs for the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program are as follows:
- Application Fee: $70.00, non-refundable.
- Tuition Deposit Fee: $350.00, applied to tuition.
- Tuition: $1,353.00 per semester unit; $66,297.00 for the entire 49-unit program.
- Student Body Fee: $50.00 annually; $100.00 for the entire two-year program.
- Graduation Fee: $160.00, final semester only.
Total Estimated Cost: $66,627

This cost analysis assumes a traditional, full-time track and does not take into account any annual tuition and fee increases, which become effective every Fall. The rate of annual tuition increase assessed by the University in the last five years ranged from 3 percent to 5 percent. The average annual tradition increase assessed in the last five years is 3.90 percent.
Students at Samuel Merritt University can apply for federal financial aid in the form of graduate loans. After you are enrolled, you will need to complete your Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) and file it each year in order to determine your eligibility for financial aid.
